How Therapy & Counseling for Moms Can Help
Lighting the way with a safe, nurturing environment
Everyone needs a place to express their truths and release the overwhelming feelings that come with the transition to motherhood. We become open to the idea that what we are feeling simply makes us human. That’s why I offer counseling for new moms and counseling for mothers who need a safe, non-judgmental place to talk honestly about how hard this season of life can feel.
Through honest, open discussion – all irrational, scary, and stressful thoughts are welcomed. New coping skills are developed and strengthened. With laughter and often a few tears, we will work together to gently deepen your understanding of how your mind works. This kind of therapy for motherhood gives you room to slow down, sort through the noise, and respond instead of react to the big feelings that can come with parenting.
We offer both in-person and online therapy for moms, making it easier to get the support you need on your schedule. At Therapy For Moms, we clear out the mental clutter to make room to handle life’s big changes like pregnancy, birth, motherhood, and the innumerable challenges that come with parenting babies, toddlers, children, and teenagers. As a dedicated prenatal and perinatal therapist, I provide specialized support for expecting moms and new parents during this transformative time.
