Everyone needs a place to express their truths and release the overwhelming feelings that come with the transition to motherhood. We become open to the idea that what we are feeling simply makes us human.
Through honest, open discussion – all irrational, scary, and stressful thoughts are welcomed. New coping skills are developed and strengthened. With laughter and often a few tears, we will work together to gently deepen your understanding of how your mind works.
At Therapy For Moms, we clear out the mental clutter to make room to handle life’s big changes like pregnancy, birth, motherhood, and the innumerable challenges that come with parenting babies, toddlers, children, and teenagers.

I chose this path because I realized my experience of motherhood was not what I expected, rather it was bewildering. The idealised version of motherhood that I had envisioned was not my reality. I realized moms like myself didn’t have the time or the tools required to manage the changes and demands motherhood requires.
This experience sparked within me the desire to empower moms to live fully with self-compassion, understanding, and new tools for whatever challenges may lay ahead.
I have broad experience working with pregnant moms and postpartum. Additionally, I led support groups for new moms struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, and adjusting to their new life.
I’ve done meaningful work counseling young children and families through my time at DePelchin Children’s Center and at Bo’s Place, a non-profit grief/bereavement center. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Texas, and hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work.
