Therapy for Moms: Supporting Women Through Every Season of Motherhood
Therapy for Moms is a specialized psychotherapy practice dedicated to helping women and mothers feel grounded, supported, and emotionally well. Founded by Angela Hill, LCSW, Therapy for Moms offers compassionate, evidence-based therapy for women navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum transitions, motherhood stress, and identity shifts through all stages of family life.
Our mission is simple: to take care of the people who make the people — because mothers and women deserve the same care and attention they give to everyone else.
Our Approach
At Therapy for Moms, we combine warmth, expertise, and deep understanding of the unique pressures women face in every reproductive season — from trying to conceive to navigating midlife transitions. We specialize in perinatal mental health, postpartum anxiety and depression, and maternal identity work, blending psychodynamic, relational, and attachment-based therapy.
Our sessions create a calm, non-judgmental space where you can:
- Explore your identity as a mother and woman
- Manage anxiety, irritability, or intrusive thoughts
- Process fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, or birth trauma
- Cope with medical interventions such as IVF or IUI
- Navigate relationship changes and boundaries
- Reconnect with your sense of purpose and joy
We understand that motherhood changes everything — your body, your relationships, your time, and your sense of self. Our therapists help you make sense of those changes and rediscover stability, confidence, and meaning.
Who We Help
We support women and mothers through many stages, including:
- Fertility and conception challenges, including IVF, IUI, and unexplained infertility
- Pregnancy, miscarriage, and postpartum adjustment
- Birth trauma and grief after loss
- Parenting stress and burnout
- Returning to work after baby
- Relationship strain and communication struggles
- Parenting toddlers and school-age children
- Perimenopause, hormonal changes, and midlife transitions
You don’t need to have a diagnosis or a crisis to start therapy. Many of our clients are high-functioning women who simply feel depleted, anxious, or disconnected from themselves — ready to talk to someone who truly understands the emotional reality of womanhood and motherhood.

- Connection: Healing happens in relationship — with your therapist, your family, and yourself.
- Empowerment: You are not broken. Therapy helps you reconnect with your resilience and voice.
- Community: We believe supporting women is a collective effort — when women thrive, families and communities do too.
